Sharne – 2 year old female Collie Cross

0

Sharne is a gorgeous Collie cross Whippet who is aged 2 years. Sharne is a friendly and affectionate girl and very loyal. She gets very close to the people she loves, but tends to ignore strangers at first, though that isn’t always the case!

She is fine with children, but is not used to babies or toddlers. She is very intelligent, learns quickly and is physically fast and agile and would be a good candidate for agility. Sharne is good with other dogs, but may clash with other bitches if living with them.

Her best friends have tended to be bigger dogs, her favourites are a Staffie cross, a Dalmatian, a Labrador and a German Shepherd, so she is used to rough play. She can be left for reasonable periods, say 4 or 5 hours, but would be unhappy and unfulfilled if left home alone all day.

She is housetrained and is not destructive. Sharne has been around cats, but does chase if they run, and will stare at them until they do – its the lherding instinct coming out! Sharne is used to horses, but will herd them if allowed, and may scare horses unused to dogs. She is also used to pigs. Sharne is fine in the car.
