Shade – 5 year old male Rottweiler

Please meet Shade! Shade is a 5 year old Rottweiler, who is micro chipped, vaccinated and will be spayed before going to her new home. Shades owner has had a change in circumstances and she’s currently being left for up to ten hours each day. Although she is not noisy or destructive, her owner would like her to be in a home where she will not be left for such long periods.

Shade is used to living with children, but due to her size we feel she would be better with children aged 8 plus, as she may unintentionally knock them over. She is not possessive over her toys or food, and is used to being an indoor, family dog. She loves being groomed and fussed, and is okay with cats though has not lived with one. She is not great with small furies. Shade is a pretty lazy, low maintenance dog who works well for food and adores fuss.

Zeus – 3 year old male Bull Mastiff cross Rottweiler

Please meet Zeus! Zeus is a 3 year old Bull Mastiff cross Rottweiler, who is 3 years old. He is vaccinated and micro chipped and will be neutered before he goes to his new home. Zeus is great with other dogs, has great recall off lead and is strong on lead. Zeus is used to living with very young children, but due to his size we think he would be best with children aged 8 plus as he will knock little ones over, not that he would mean to! He is not food or toy possessive, and is used to being an indoor family dog.

Due to a change in circumstances, Zeus is currently being left for 10 hours a day, hence why he is looking for a new home. Despite being left for very long periods, he is not noisy or destructive.

Zeus is an energetic dog who will benefit from lots of exercise. He enjoys being fussed and groomed..the more attention the better!
Zeus seems to be okay with cats, but has not lived with one. He is not great with small furries!

He is energetic and soppy, will do anything for food! He is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful temperament. He is a really big lad, and we are sure that whoever meets this lovely lad fall in love and want to take him home!!

Boo – 16 month old male Rottweiler

Boo is a 16 month old male Rottweiler who is looking for a new home due to the child’s ill health in his previous home. He would be fine to live with other dogs but due to be assessed with cats. He is good with both young and older children.

He is house-trained and can be left alone for four to five hours. He is looking for a new home with someone who has owned dogs before and is fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog. He will need a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise everyday in a park or open space.

Boo – 16 month old male Rottweiler

Mitzy – 18 month old female Cross-Breed

Mitzy is around 18 months old and is a small crossbreed with elements of Daschund and Labrador in her. She has a build similar to a Daschund and the face of a very small Labrador. Mitzy is an absolute poppet who really doesn’t like the kennel environment so she’s been taken into the kennel owners home. She’s a timid little thing who is so submissive she spends her entire time on her back with her belly in the air pleading for tummy tickles and buckets of love and attention. A beautiful girl both inside and out who you cannot fail to love.

Bryn is an 18 month old brindle medium sized crossbreed who you want to put in your pocket and take home. Bryn is a total cuddle monster who adores some love and wouldn’t let go of our volunteer called Chris. He’s so cute you can’t fail to fall in love with this incredibly tactile little boy.

Rocky – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Rocky is a full Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He’s the absolute darling of the kennel and loved by everyone. He’s an incredibly laid back boy seen here enjoying sunbathing and a cuddle with some of our volunteers and is good with children and other dogs. A top boy who will break a lot of hearts when he goes. Rocky really isn’t enjoying the kennel environment and will be best rehomed with someone who will be around him most of the time.

Mundy is a beautiful female pale red Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross around two years old. It’s rare you see such an unusual colored Staffie. Mundy is good with other dogs and fine with older children. We have no history as to what she is like with younger children or cat. Mundy really stands out from the crowd and has a lovely temperament. Quite happy to sit and chew on a stick whilst we got on with the boring process of photographing her!

Cissy – 12 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Cissy (originally called Princess) came into us with a dog called Poppy. Poppy has been rehomed leaving Cissy all alone. Cissy is a 12 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier and is a little doll. She’s small for a Staffie girl, very cute in her affectionate mannerisms with the most incredibly brown eyes that are so rich in color they make her stand out from the crowd. She’s hasn’t reacted too well to male dogs in the kennel but she was fine with her sister so she would have to be tested with any potential ‘siblings’ in her new home. A fabulous little puppy who will make someone a beautiful pet.

Greta is an 18 month old medium sized brindle cross-breed girl. She’s good with other dogs, very playful and likes children. Greta really enjoys having someone to play with (dog or human!) as well has have plenty of fuss. She’s likely to be overlooked simply as she’s another brindle crossbreed. Will someone give this lovely young girl a chance?

Charlie is a four year old English Bull Terrier cross. He’s a real character this boy and the kennel advised that he has “a unique selling point as he has no front teeth!!” Charlie will sit in his kennel wobbling his chops as though he’s having a full conversation with you so he probably thinks he’s a human having a lovely chat. A fantastic boy who really needs to be in a home with his new family as he doesn’t like being left in a kennel.
