I don’t have a personal problem with the do gooders. I don’t breed dogs as I said before. However I have seen people that breed and spend a great deal of time not to mention expense caring for their dogs only to be raided by Animal Control, PETA or HSUS. They grab the dogs and stuff them into crates that were made to hold only one dog. Then they transport them in their fancy trucks to the pound that was condemned at least thirty years ago. These were people that bred there own show prospects. I have been in their kennels
they may not have been fancy but they were clean, the dogs were not show groomed but were clean and did not have matted coats. They all also had chain link runs that were large enough for four dogs but the most I ever saw in one was two. All dogs had a run with only one dog in it. Then shortly after this incident they raided a private home, broke in when the older gentleman opened the door, pushing him aside and grabing their one dog. Then they took the man and and his wife through them to the ground and hand cuffed them. Then started violenty questioning them where they had their other dogs. The older people had no other dogs, but they were thrown to the ground that was covered with snow, it was quite cold. After a long period of time getting no answers to there questions other than the man kept telling them they were at the wrong house. I guess the do gooders got cold and tired, even though they had down jackets and snow boots on, the older couple did not have any outdoor clothing on. Guess what? They got in the trucks and started them up to get warm. I guess they got bored and started reading their orders and golly gee they had the wrong address. They yanked the man and women up and set them free, quibbled about taking their one dog that had been sleeping in front of the fireplace. Exasperated and tired they threw the dog to the ground and left. No apology. The do gooders should have been drawn and quartered. The victims did not have the money to sue, I guess they were thankful to get out of the mess alive. This may sound like a figment of my imagination, I wish it was.
These people do not come all decked out in designer clothes, heavens no. They have to look like poor bedraggled, hard working people protecting the world of animals from unbelievable conditions.
I agree with you about puppy mills where animals are kept in horrid conditions. You are one hundred per cent right. This kind of thing should be closed down. No arguing from me about that. Like I said as long as there are stores that sell animals there will be puppy mills. No decent breeder in his right mind would sell an animal to one of them.
This do gooder thing started out as a good idea. But like many good ideas turn into a bad idea. A little bit of power can be a dangerous thing. As I said I wish you the best of luck, just watch your back.
PS: Pardon my spelling, actually I can spell but this is something that is terrible. I think I go a bit off. I have seen and heard too much.
